PET

PolyEthylene Therephthalate with short name of PET is a raw material comes from the family of polyester and produced
from petrol. This material is a kind of polymer which consists of terepthtalic acid (PTA), ethylene glikol (MEG), a little
isophitalic asid (IPA), some additives and catalysts that give to the material good processing and product characteristics.
Its production process is composed of polymerization – esterization – cutting and solid polymerization phases.
PET is easily distinguishable from other plastics with its symbol which is generally stated on the bottom of the product or
printed on the label and consist of the combination of recycling symbol and PET recyclability number.
